Mbah Surip has passed about a view months ago. But his special laugh was stil sounding around the world. Although he was not famous as Micheal Jackson, but he has made all the Indonesian surprised with his death. Actually he was a new comer as Indonesian artist with his booming single "Tak Gendong". Everyone singing this song everytime they sing.
Now, I just want to recall all his dedication on Indonesia's Music with this design. Hopefully, all his hardwork will be in our heart. We All Love You Full Mbah Surip......

It has been a while since I shared some twitter love on the blog. Today, I have another Twitter Icon Set for download and it is called "Tweet Pillow". There are 2 icons in the the set and each is available in a few sizes. All files are PNG format. This is my third Twitter icon set and I thoroughly enjoyed making this one. This week as I sauntered along the path of self-taught designery, I decided to explore some more the wonderful world of Compositions. I have been practicing the art of Composition in design for a few years now, initially starting out on digital piecing of artwork for the celebrity website that relaunches this year. My most recent Composition artwork can be seen on my Twitter Background. Composition basically means planning of a design and arranging it in form or color, a visual piecing together of elemental objects on a background in either two or three dimension for a pleasing, harmonious effect. The beauty of Compositions is that because each designer’s way of thinking is so different from the other and their creativity so unique, it imparts a one of a kind flavor to the final artwork. Compositions can involve any number of design aspects, ranging from typography and simple photographs to complex 3D renderings, lineart, hand-drawn art, de-coupage, vectors and so much more working in tandem or solo. I have put together 44 random but each equally stunning as the other, composition wallpapers for your viewing pleasure.
Character Design like any other design process is best begun with sketching your ideas on paper. Constructing the character’s skeleton and then fleshing it out will open up your options as to how you want the character to be portrayed. One of the basic rules of imaginative, quirky, 3d character design is "Don’t follow norms!". Mostly all creatures have 2 eyes, so try not to stick to routine. How about 1 eye? or no eyes at all? Let your imagination run really wild during the illustration process and your final little cartoon models will not only be unique, they will be much more fun to look at.
There are some great softwares out there for 3d rendering. Some choices amongst many that you would have are Autodesk 3DS Max, Autodesk Maya, Blender and Swift 3D. I have 40 more terrific twitter logos in the followup to Perfect Twitter Logos Inspiration Based Competition today. Some of these are being used in applications and on websites. Some of them are up for grabs if you plan to start a twitter based business or blog or website. Some of them are just a terrific designer’s twitter doodle. They are all blue, well mostly all of them and they are good twitter inspiration. It is fun to see the many depictions of the blue bird, with more and more illustrative bird based, cartoon style twitter logos becoming more popular. I wonder what breed the famous blue bird is? Don’t you?
I love these logos showcased in the post today because they are unbelievably simple [well, most of them] and brilliant in their simplicity. I love words and seeing them used effectively to brand an image gives me a lot of joy. Words are very powerful and with a little imagination once can really produce fantastic logos using just words. I recently completed my first full-blown illustration. It took me a good few days to get it right. It is the face of my food website and blog and is called The Sweet Goddess. When I started sketching this gorgeous creature, the hair was much bigger and accomodated an entire orchard of fruits. There were vines of grapes with big, beautiful leaves, strawberries, apples, mangoes, flowers, butterflies and bees in her hair. When I took the sketch to Illustrator, the wonky worm that starts wiggling and makes me meddle and alter stuff, took over. Before I knew it, the goddess had cupcakes, cherries and hearts adorning her mane. Thus was born The Sweet Goddess. She brings a touch of Parisian chic, a little wicked glamor and a cool retro look to my newest brand amidst all the pretty pastels. And what better way to celebrate her then to share her curls and swirls in a wallpaper pack for your desktops. I have five wallpapers, each in 8 resolutions for download today. When designing a fancy logo, we shouldn’t be using a plain font, nor something too grungy. These kind of logos need to maintain their class. The right balance of flair and flourish in typography will render these fancy logos absolutely beautiful. I prepared 20 free fonts which are just right for this purpose. Enjoy!
